D.A.R.E
D.A.R.E. is an exciting 13-week program taught by Officer Colleen Handrick to help students recognize and resist the pressures that may influence them to experiment with drugs. They will also learn how violence hurts everyone.
The program is instructed in one-hour blocks, once a week. The topic of each lesson is different, but builds on the previous lesson. This program is a cooperative effort between the Rothschild Police Department and the D.C. Everest School District and Newman Catholic School at St. Marks.
Gifts From Heaven Program
The program was established in 1997 after a tragic accident took the lives of Tara and Kendra Brickner. Gifts From Heaven is in memory of Tara & Kendra with hopes of providing for families in need of various items during the Christmas Season.

This program also brings the Rothschild Police Department and the community closer together as we both have a common goal, The welfare of you and your family.
Radar Board

In 2005 the Rothschild Police Department was awarded a grant which allowed us to purchase a radar board. This unit has been actively used in the community with great results. If you would like to see the radar board placed in your neighborhood, just contact our department at 715/359-3879.
