 Records Request Notice

In compliance with Wisconsin State Statutes 19.34 and 19.35, the Rothschild Police Department hereby establishes the following procedures as they apply to public records in its custody.

ACCESS TO RECORDS  -  REQUEST PROCEDURE
Requests may be made either in written or oral form.  To aid in the location of those records, the request should contain:
Date of Occurrence     Location {If Known} 
Any Information Which May Help Limit The Search For Records   
 
Oral requests may be denied.  The Department shall comply with such requests in a timely manner.
Note:  Wisconsin State Statute 48.396 prohibits the disclosure of records concerning persons who are under the age of eighteen (18) years.

REQUEST FOR ACCIDENT REPORTS AND POLICE REPORTS

Accident Reports can be picked up at the Rothschild Police Department Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. or by calling the department at 715/359-3879.

The cost is as follows:

   Pick up Report at the P.D. . . . . . . . .$2.00

   Fax the Report  . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .$3.00

   Mail the Report  . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .  $4.00

You may request all other reports at the Police Department by completing the following Open Records Request.  Please complete the top portion of the form and drop it off at the Police Department, located at 211 Grand Avenue in Rothschild.  The charge is 25 cents per page.
